When your regular GP is closed and something needs attention, Dr Liam Regan is available at Nassau Clinic in Dublin 2. We are open on Thursday afternoons and throughout the weekend, so you can see a GP without waiting until Monday.

We see adults and children aged 8 and over. Whether you find it difficult to get a timely appointment at your registered practice, you are not currently registered with a GP in Ireland, or you would otherwise attend an Emergency Department for something a GP can treat, we can help. Appointments cover urgent consultations, prescriptions, blood tests, medical certificates and more.

Our clinic provides prompt treatment for a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries, helping you get the care you need without unnecessary delays.

We offer same-day prescriptions for acute conditions where clinically appropriate. If you require a medical certificate for your employer or college due to illness, Dr. Regan can provide this following your consultation.

WHAT WE ARE UNABLE TO HELP WITH

Nassau Clinic is not an emergency facility. There are some conditions and services that fall outside what we are able to provide at the clinic.

We do not treat:

  • Children under 8 years old
  • Cuts requiring stitches
  • Broken bones
  • Major emergencies, including chest pain and severe bleeding

We also do not offer home visits.

WEEKEND STI BLOOD & URINE DRUG TESTING IN DUBLIN

If you need an STI blood test or urine drug test but cannot get an appointment during the week, Nassau Clinic is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

We provide a range of testing services, including STI screening, cholesterol and thyroid testing, and urine drug testing for workplace or personal use. We offer a 12-panel urine drug test, with results available by phone within one hour and a written letter issued the same day. All tests are carried out in a professional and discreet manner at our Nassau Street clinic.

Q1. Are you open on Weekends?
Yes. We are open on Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Booking in advance helps reduce your wait time, particularly during busy weekend hours.
Q3. How much does a consultation cost?

Q4. Can I claim my consultation fee through health insurance?
Nassau Clinic is a private clinic and consultations are paid for at the time of your visit. You may be able to claim reimbursement through your private health insurer, but the amount covered will depend on your provider and the terms of your policy. We recommend checking with your insurer before attending.
Q5. Will my GP be kept informed after my visit?
With your consent, Dr Regan can share consultation notes with your regular GP to ensure continuity of care.
Q6. What should I bring to my appointment?
It is helpful to bring a form of photo ID, a list of any medications you are currently taking, and any relevant previous test results if you have them.
Q7. Can Dr Regan prescribe antibiotics or other medication?
Yes. As a fully qualified GP registered with the Irish Medical Council, Dr Liam Regan can prescribe antibiotics, pain relief, and other necessary medications where clinically appropriate.
Q8. Can children be seen at the clinic?
We see adults and children aged 8 and over. We are not able to see children under the age of 8.
Q9. Do you offer home visits or on-call appointments?
No. Nassau Clinic operates from our Nassau Street clinic only, during our opening hours. For medical emergencies outside these hours, please contact 999 or 112.
